Når utføres arbeidet?

Gjødsling og kalking utføres tidlig i vekstsesongen, typisk på våren Mai/Juni.
Klipping av torvtaket skjer på sensommeren (August/September) når gresset har vokst tilstrekkelig, slik at det holder seg sunt og sterkt gjennom vinteren.
Rens av takrenner og opprydding gjøres i forbindelse med klippingen.
